When you compile the FireFox/Thunderbird/Mozilla/... sources in the source tree, the build process create a directory called "dist". In this Dir Mozilla build process put all you need!!! The subdir "bin" contains the "binary program" that you have just compiled. Other dirs (like "lib", "include","idl" ...) contains the complete "Mozilla sdk". The string_s.lib is in "lib" Dir.

where is the string_s.lib? any source to compile this?
