Subject: Re: Fw: Failure to obtain the
download manager component
Hello again BDS,
I've followed your advice and I substituted the
xpcomglue.lib by xpcomglue_s.lib on the library list I am linking
against
But now I am obtaining some linkage errors that I
haven't before . Here they are :
Linking...
Creating library Release/Fox.lib
and object Release/Fox.exp
Observer.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved
external symbol
_NS_GetServiceManager
xpcomglue_s.lib(nsComponentManagerUtils.obj) : error
LNK2001: unresolved external symbol
_NS_GetServiceManager
xpcomglue_s.lib(nsMemory.obj) : error LNK2001:
unresolved external symbol
_NS_RegisterXPCOMExitRoutine
xpcomglue_s.lib(nsMemory.obj) : error LNK2001:
unresolved external symbol
_NS_GetMemoryManager
xpcomglue_s.lib(nsComponentManagerUtils.obj) : error
LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _NS_GetComponentManager
Release/Fox.dll
: fatal error LNK1120: 4 unresolved externals
Error executing
link.exe.
Do I need to do anything special when I switch to
xpcomglue_s.lib?
Regards,
Oliveiros
