I would like to change the jar references in an extension I'm working on to reference another non-jar location on my disk. This will help make developing my extension much easier.

Since Firefox 0.9+ doesn't appear to use installed-chrome.txt for extensions that are installed in your profile, I'm not entirely sure how to change an extension install such that they reference files in a folder on my disk. The extension's install.rdf contains a <Description about="urn:mozilla:extension:file:extensionName.jar"> but that "about" attribute seems to be just a name.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
