Lame will store its version number into the first (or more?) frame of the mp3-file. With an old mp3-file, or an mp3-file converted by another person, i can not see with what options the file was built. Is it possible to include the options into the first frame? For example: lame384 -mj -v1 -b128 -F Jack -- MP3 ENCODER mailing list ( http://geek.rcc.se/mp3encoder/ )
