I use 3.85b with setting -V1 -q1 -128 -mj -h, but in www.sulaco.org\mp3 I
found that in 3.86a there is some fix:
Robert Hegemann: old VBR: fixed some bugs and Takehiro's scalefac_scale
feature is now on by default. older LAME versions did not allow to spent
more than 2500 bits of 4095 possible bits to a granule per channel, now
fixed.
Does this bug in 3.85b effect my lame settings?
And is it safe to use --vbr-new with 3.85b, or it is safer to use 3.86a.

thnx in advance
