Hi,
I'm a Phd student looking at audio compression,
though not particularly MP3.
I've been looking through the GPSYCHO code - the
following questions arose.
1) What is the difference between the two
different psychoacoustic model functions?
2) Does anyone know exactly how the
unpredictability measure is being calculated.
ie. numre=a1*b2;
numim=(a1*a1-b1*b1) * 0.5
etc.
Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.
