SOmething similar happend to me, but it was winamp problem showing the
rigth time, it even show the progression bar going backwards sometimes (on XMMS for linux)
, but that was with old winamp versions. Do you saw that behaviour with a particular mp3 player?

I'm using Exact Audio Copy 0.9 b4 together with LAME 3.92 on WinXP.
Problem:
EAC shows that a track is about 5 min long but
the track length info in the mp3 says that it is just 2:14 min long. It seems like the track length info for all my tracks becomes between 1 and 2 min.
My guess is that LAME writes the time it took to
encode the MP3 to the track length info field.
Have I encountered a bug or am I using the software incorrectly?
