hi, i have an up-to-date OS X, fink and lame install on my macintosh. i previously converted .wav or .wma to mp3 using lame w/o difficulties.
suddently (that is: i do not remember what has changed...maybe a system update by apple or a change in fink) the conversion no longer works. the result is a mp3 file with a hissing noise :-( i tried it with an OS X version of lame (install to /usr/bin) and get the same result. how can this be fixed? what libraries/preferences does lame use wich are messed up on my system? any help appreciated. regards kp _______________________________________________ mp3encoder mailing list mp3encoder@minnie.tuhs.org http://minnie.tuhs.org/mailman/listinfo/mp3encoder
