hi there, I am using mpc for quite a while now and have had a slight difficulty when trying to select a song by indicating the track number. It seems easy enough to add a counter value in front of every track, which will be shown along with playlist names when the command "mpc playlist" is executed.
smth in the order [ 1] Artist - Song title [ 2] Artist2 - Song title2 etc This makes it easy to run afterwards execute the command mpc play 34 in order to play song #34 in the current playlist. Thank you , Athanasios Silis
