I tried again applying your patch in a fresh 2.6.8 kernel and, as
expected, nothing happened but a change of bitrate ... My card is still
dumb (no pun intended). The TS stream does not have any audio packets,
and fills the bitrate with NULL packets.
The other problem with the continuity counter has more to do with cat,
after several trials, it comes out that the read syscall must be placed
I'll start messing up the sources to find what change from 0.2.9 to
the newest versions makes my system silent.
