hi,

A little notice about php using mpir, as of php 5.3 (and later), the
gmp (http://www.php.net/gmp) extension supports MPIR on Windows (x86
and x64). MPIR is used now for all binaries we provide instead of gmp.

PHP 6 will certainly support MPIR on all platforms (allow one to build
ext/gmp against mpir). Contributions, testing and feedback are indeed
welcome :).

Thanks for your work on MPIR, it is really helpful to have an
alternative to GMP on any platforms (and compilers)!

Cheers,

Pierre
