Thanks Brian. I decided on the lib_mpir_core2 project but am interested in what the lib_mpir_nehalem represents. Could you tell me a little more?

I forgot to add that my processor is an Intel Quad 4.

For fast assembler code you probably need lib_mpir_nehalem but
lib_mpir_core2 will also work.

For a generic C build you can use lib_mpir_gc.

You need to select the x64 and release configuration and also build
lib_mpir_cxx if you are using C++.
