Hi I thinking of changing the distribution file format from tar.gz to tar.bz2 consider the sizes of the new mpir-2.2.0.tar.*
gz 4567370 bzip2 3406693 lzma 2532050 I think if we go to lzma format now , quite a few machines will not have it on by default , they can always download it but that can be a pain(the OS I use , Slackware only got lzma last year).
