Not too sure how to transfer it to another person and I don't have any particular desire to own the domain.
Here is a cached copy of a page on transferring it from GoDaddy to another domain: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:1BOfAgmNnuAJ:blog.jeffepstein.me/post/14629857835/a-step-by-step-guide-to-transfer-domains-out-of-godaddy+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us The original article is down for (probably) obvious reasons. Sorry, I didn't mean to invite discussion of something I don't own. I merely became confused after doing a search of my gmail account for references to godaddy. We must have discussed the domain renewal at some point. Bill.
