Dear all, It's not completely clear to me when which assembler is used at MPIR build time, i.e. when is it the shipped YASM, and when is it the system default assembler? Could someone provide me some hints? I'm asking cause I had to update the Sage's spkg hack we use and which consists in deleting some asm files containing @GOT used in PIC code in order to build MPIR on Mac OS 10.4/5 where the Apple's AS doesn't understand this macro (or whatever this is).
