We can't add all formats there, that makes an unreadable mess of the
documentation and would always be outdated anyway.

(for decoding only, I assume you don't care about encoding,
and admittedly that does not necessarily mean it will work with
mf://, but that would be a one-line change to add if not).

Feel free to quote me when I say we give no warranties so it is silly to rely
on anything written anyway.
Test that what you need works, everything else is pointless.

eq2 does only support 8 bit, so if you use it to do gamma correction on > 8-bit
DPX the result will be quite bad.
