I certainly do not want a fixed roof. I refuse to see a Twins game at the
Metrodome because of the fixed roof. I caught 3.5 Saints games this year and
I used to catch a few Duluth/Superior Dukes games when I lived up in Duluth.
Nothing I have done compares to sitting in an open ballpark watching a
ballgame. I just can not imagine sitting inside, under a dome roof, on a
nice day to watch a ball game.

I was tossing out the idea of a retractable roof for when it rains, but I
wonder how many games would actually get rained out or delayed with out a
roof? Does anyone know how many Twins games would have been delayed this
year because of rain? I certainly would not complain if there was not
retractable roof, but I would complain voluminously if there was a fixed
roof.

BTW, why did Major League Baseball refuse to let the Twins play in an
outdoor field this year? I never heard the justification for that decision.
I would have certainly made the attempt to see at least one of their games
if it was outside.
