Gees, Fred, calm down.
All these plans are still tentative & subject to change (as was stated
several times in the announcement).
Only 2 (out of 14 conventions) have reserved HCGC as a backup, to
be sure that they have a location available for the date. (It's been used
for many conventions over the years, and we know it's a workable
facility. And wasn't Jim Niland first endorsed for 6th ward at a
convention in this very location?)
People are still working on finding other suitable locations, but
it is difficult to find one that is available on the scheduled date,
readily accessible, big enough for a couple hundred people, and cheap (or
free). Any suggestion that you have to make will be welcomed!
