Star Tribune Published Wednesday, January 17, 2001 Hwy. 62 hearing A Senate Transportation Committee hearing on the reconstruction of the Crosstown Hwy. 62 and Interstate Hwy. 35W interchange will start at 8 a.m. Thursday in Room 112 of the State Capitol. The hearing will recess at 9:30 a.m. for a brief Senate session and resume when that session adjourns. The hearing was previously scheduled to begin after the session. Last week the Minnesota Department of Transportation explained its plans to close the Crosstown from Penn to Portland avenues for up to four years beginning in 2002 because of the construction work. © Copyright 2001 Star Tribune.
