I know David abhors discussion of the list but I'll irk him and do this (but
only this once ;-) ):
I would submit that each member of this list already voted to accept the
rules of the forum by agreeing to them when they signed up for the list.
Therefore 100% of the list members have voted to accept the rules already.
I am extremely impressed by David B's management of this list. He has
invested a large amount of time that I am sure he could find other uses for.
His judicious and respectful intervention has prevented this list degrading
into a glorified pissing match. It only takes a few "poison personalities"
to turn off list members and make the forum worthless.
