Taken in total, it seems > that > we are not addressing the affordable housing issue > Keith says; I do tip my hat to an individual willing to take a step back from, and a critical glance at, his outlook and how it manifests. It does make Mr. Velez appear sincere. I simply do not think he is evolved enough to grab the reins of the County Board seat and lead us. Mike Opat has always seemed unpretentious and sincere, in a little boy sort of way. He was a guard at the Work House, and worked his way up. Disarming and humble, like Mpls. CM Barb Johnson, who returns my business calls, on Saturday noons, while bustin' suds at her kitchen sink. Yet he somehow rested control of the County Board from The Mac Daddy. And we are all better off for that upset. I want Mike at the helm!
