You know, Craig, for years I've heard Managers whine about how hard they had it. How they showed up first and left last. And in 25+ years of consulting experience, at all kinds of companies all over the Twin Cities, I've only seen it actually be true twice.
In general, my experience has been that it's the frontline workers who work the hardest and get paid much less than the Managers.


It has been many years since I was on the frontline of management in the
private sector.  You know the position, hiring firing, and being the one who
shows up early and stays late.
