An update on the Wing Fling Friday night at the Farmer's Market: The crowd was a lot bigger than most of the wing vendors anticipated--some had to go out and get more wings mid-fest. Lines at some vendors were nearly an hour long. The Wing King award went to Big E's Soul Food, and Park Tavern (St. Louis Park) took second.
I think this will become an annual event. Some kinks to be worked out, but the vendors I talked to want to come back.
