The Minneapolis Property Rights Action Committee (MPRAC) is delighted to announce that Mr. Heffelfinger will be our guest at our February meeting which will be televised repeatedly on cable Channels 6 and 17.
Mr. Heffelfinger is beefing up his white-collar crime division by hiring an additional assistant U. S. attorney, a legal assistant, and the division's first "forensic financial analyst." Funding for the new positions was provided by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act at the federal level. The U. S. Attorney's office is part of the Minnesota Financial Crimes Task Force created by the Legislature two years ago. Tax fraud, among other white collar crimes, is a focus of the Minnesota initiative. MPRAC now meets at the Holiday Inn Metrodome, in the Aragon Ballroom on the third Thursday of each month - 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The hotel is located at 1500 Washington Avenue South, next to Grandma's, and has very inexpensive ($2.50 max) parking facilities in the attached municipal ramp. Our programs are presented in a question and answer format, so everyone who attends can speak to Mr. Heffelfinger - to ask questions and make comments. Don't be shy - everyone is welcome. You won't want to miss this event, so mark your calendar now. Vicky Heller, North Oaks Cedar-Riverside (work) [EMAIL PROTECTED] REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules?
