Maybe this is part of the plan. Get the citizens so fed up with the delays
on 55 that they won't mind it being converted into a freeway with overpasses
ending the need to attempt crossing the tracks.
For those of you unfortunate enough to be stuck waiting to cross the tracks,
use that time to think of what life would've been like had we found away to
get the same amount of funding for 3 BRT lines that would've served twice as
many riders. =)
Or, better yet, a PRT system that would not interfere with ground traffic and would not be limited to certain routes but could pick people up in their neighborhoods and deliver them closer to there final destination than fixed route transit. Which means no conflict with busy streets during rush hour!
