Harvest our common history on Plymouth Avenue and learn more about Jewish
Community Action's Northside Legacy Fund with Franklin Bank. Celebrate the
Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot together with the Black Storytellers
Alliance & take a walking tour of Jewish and African American history along
Plymouth Avenue. The tour will end at Homewood Studios with a reception.
This is a family event and children are encouraged and welcomed to
participate. Our hosts include: Sherri Pugh, Executive Director, Northside
Residents Redevelopment Council; Rabbi Sim Glaser, Temple Israel; Nothando
Zulu, Master Storyteller; Dorothy Bridges, President, Franklin Bank; Mayor
R.T. Rybak, Mayor of Minneapolis; Natalie Johnson Lee, City Council Member
Ward 5, Minneapolis
