Kahn, as does every other legislator does - has every
right to volunteer in other campaigns. She's not the
first legislator to steal lit or signs from opposing
candidates or causes. I think it was good she was
caught - because this was a good teachable moment for
all legislators - and campaign people.

I've taken one piece of literature in the past, when
I've door knocked or lit dropped for people - but have
never taken multiple pieces - which is what Kahn did.
Taking one piece is an opposition research sort of
thing. I also tend to pick up literature from
opposing candidates at candidate forums - and give
that to campaign managers or candidates who i'm
volunteering for.

This isn't at the level of Sandra Hillary and her
gambling/corruption scandals.

The Republican Party endorsed a candidate from
Students for Family Values - Amanda Hutchings I
believe - and I asked about Amanda on the SFV website
- and Amanda hasn't been working this district.

Amanda was a pathetic choice for the Republicans.
They could have done decently with a moderate
candidate - but the crowd that shows up to conventions
are the Leviticus Crowd types.

Students for Family Values folks are debating over
whether to support Bush or Peroutka (the constitution
party candidate) in their web forum. There seem to be
more of them supporting Peroutka.
