Thank You for this article. As a Junior High student in the early 70's we were able to buy discounted tickets to the Guthrie. One of the people that was in some of my classes was the well known Actor Sally Wingert. There were others such as Puke and Snot comedians, or Zilch the grave digger and Tory Steller at the Rennissance Fair circuit. It would be interesting how many others were influenced by this program. These examples just come from one Graduating class. After all this might enlighten some people to how important theater is, and what an influence it can have on a persons whole life.
