Street Signs are color coded:

o Blue sign - an arterial street with heavy traffic.
o Green sign - a street running north and south.
o Brown sign - a street running east to west.

[TB] Somedays I think people just make stuff up and post it. A quick look at the City of Minneapolis web site reveals:
Snow Emergency routes are marked in two ways:


RED Snow Emergency signs

BLUE street name signs.

Streets that are NOT Snow Emergency routes have green or brown street name signs.
