Hi all --
Straddling the concrete moat that is 35W, Southside Pride and Southwest Journal are teaming up to sponsor a candidates' forum for the 8th Ward, which also jumps the moat.
This is a chance for DFL delegates - and everyone else - to buttonhole the candidates in one place.
The event will be Thursday, April 21, 7-9:30 p.m. at Phelps Park, 701 E. 39th St. Each candidate will get a five-minute intro and then we'll have an hour-plus for audience questions, with at least a half hour of more informal chat time at the end.
