I remember from the last legislative session a controversy when Otto  was 
confronted by the GLBT community regarding her vote for the Bachmann  
amendment. 
One can only speculate that Otto was under pressure from her swing  district 
to vote for it. Otto was elected on the slimmest of margins (remember  her 
campaign lit that had her male opponent in a tutu)and in fact lost  re-election 
to 
the same opponent by another slim margin.
