Does it surprise anyone that this latest idea is sprung on us after the deal is mostly done? Channel 5 reported last night that it was only a $360 million stadium and that a state paid for roof was the deal breaker. What story is true?
Give me a break, our reps have voted this in and sold out their constituents to the billionaire cry baby that can't make 'enough' money in the dome. Why should we the tax payers get the bill for the lions share of this thing and the poor billionaire get the naming rights and concessions? If I find Peter voted yes for this I will vote against him from this day forth for anything he runs for. This is wrong to put a tax on people for something they have made quite clear they do not want to pay for and not tax us for the things we have made clear we do want to be taxed for. As I have said before, I will be all for this tax payer funded stadium after we get homelessness and joblessness eliminated as problems. Until that, Carl can pay for his own @#$%&$%^$% stadium. After all, he can't take all that money with him. Ron Leurquin Nokomis East REMINDERS: 1. Be civil! Please read the NEW RULES at http://www.e-democracy.org/rules.
