Electric cars still have to get their power from *somewhere* Right now,
that's nuclear and coal power. Adding another huge consumer of electricity
to our outdated grid would mean we have to build another power plant, and
all the greenies who want electric cars would have to go have a protest
march.

Robert Liligren had a novel answer to traffic problems in Minneapolis.
During a meeting with a DOT official about traffic congestion, Liligren was
told that the DOT defines congestion as traffic moving 45 MPH or less.
Liligren then suggested that if we redefine conjestion to 35 MPH, our
traffic grid looks to be in good shape! Fine thinking from our city council.
That's better than electric cars, isn't it? If won't cost a dime!
