I can't see how McLaughlin spins the primary election in a positive 
manner.  He had the momentum coming out of the convention and then 
loses by 10 points.  Also David's Ward analysis shows that again RT 
swept the 10th, 13th, 11th, and 7th Wards.  These are historically the 
highest voter turnout wards in the City (by far).  RT won't win 65-35 
like he did in 2001, but unless something drastically changes between 
now and November 8th, RT should win handily 55-45.

Tenth Ward will be a fun race to watch.  Remington should watch out as 
the Ward has a reliable "progressive base" of about 40-45 percent.  
Unfortunately, Remington needs 50.1 percent to win.  I say Persons wins 
53-47.
