My embarrassed reply to you and the list,

Actually I have been following your campaign (Farheen Hakeem's, spelled
correctly) since getting one of your flyers at the Loring Park anti-war
rally in February, so I should know how to spell your name correctly.

I think I have learned now not to try to post anything the day after being
an election judge from 6 am to 9 pm, then staying up until 2 am to look at
election results nationwide. I obviously was not proofreading my posts for
spelling, and I failed to add my name and neighborhood.

I'm giving myself plenty recovery time after the 2006 primary before sending
out e-mails.

With egg on my face and an apology for my error,

Dave Harvey

CARAG

BTW, if I did receive 1,000 votes, I would like to thank the Star Tribune
for sponsoring a write in campaign. The Strib decided to change the title
of an editorial that was "RT sucks less" to "Write me in, not clueless
candidates" which was published September 24th of this year. Other
journalists read the title and thought it was acurate as well.

still get a portion of 1268 votes, shows something quite extraordinary. The
people of Minneapolis are some of the most loving people in the world.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to run.
