Hello Minneapolis,
Again, all I can speak to derives of personal experience. My personal
experience with NJL is that she showed up for many events, at many
meetings, and in many places to show support for regular people--myself
amongst them. I watched NJL take the time to go out of her Ward (and
out of her way) to just plain be there. No one makes all the right decisions at
the right time---or at least it is very hard to maintain that patina. I have
found Natalie Johnson-Lee to be a caring, supportive and very involved member
of our community and have valued that-as an individual-a great deal. That is
the legacy she should have...she is one of those rare people who listens to
those who are
often voiceless. There was a time when that mattered a great deal.
