Regarding one of the city council member and their neighbor. The limited
market value difference was only $16,500 less then their neighbor and yet the
neighbor was paying $3,475 more in property taxes. That one still leaves me
scratching my head.

During my search last night I also found home a owner that paid over $30,000
in property taxes per-year. They happen to be a doctor and it would appear they
can likely afford to pay such high taxes.
