Hi everyone, This is a question regarding the backout mechanism in MQ. I understand that for every backout we do on a message the backout count property of that message increases by 1. There are two properties in a local queue called BackoutRequeueName and BackoutThreshold. Question:
These properties are just for inquiry right? I do not think that the queue manager will shift messages from the local queue to the BackoutRequeue queue when the backout count of the message increases beyond the backout threshold for the local queue, right? Or would it? Thanks.
