Is anyone using multiple channel listeners ? In a Z/OS environment, using 2 queue managers on the same LPAR I sent 10,000 messages over each of 6 channels from one queue manager to another using one listener. Then did the same have 10,000 over each of three channels using one listener and three other channels using a second listener. The throughput was the same. What is the purpose of being able to start more the one listener in the same queue manager? I thought it would havesome impact on throughput.
