Dennis, I have not experienced the problem you specifically describe with WMQI 2.1. Does your copybook have redefines? We usually remove all of these and 88 levels before importing. Also, even though COBOL allows you to use FILLER as many times as you want, WMQI seems to choke after a certain number. I am not sure what that number is. I usually give all my FILLER unique names. Those are the major problems that I recall when importing COBOL copylibs. I hope it helps.

When we build a copybook in notepad and import the copybook into our message set fields are missed and no elements are created. We seem to have to constantly adjust spacing between our field name and the PIC clause to get them to show up and it seems to be totally random. Has anyone else run into this and if so is there and easier way to know if your copybook is conforming to Integrator standards (we are following normal COBOL copybook standards) ?????????
