I have not used this trigger monitor but the nomal approach would be to get disable the queue that the trigger monitor is polling.

In fact, it runs, and triggers CICS transactions, fine. The problem is stopping it. The manuals (MQ, or TXSeries) don't seem to address this at all. A Purge of the transaction, via CEMT, does nothing; a Force purge will abend the transaction with abend code A147; but then the trigger program fails to restart, with the messages (to the CSMT TDQ): MQSeries trigger monitor started. Initiation queue could not be opened. MQSeries trigger monitor ended. Even worse, if MQSeries is defined to CICS as XA-connected, the A147 will crash the whole CICS region, with abend code U8030. I'm running: MQSeries 5.2.0.5 TXSeries CICS 5.0.0.1 AIX 5.1 maintenance level 2 Does anyone know what the expected way of cleaning stopping this program is?
