MQ is inherently asynchronous - your CICS and AIX apps will not be talking
directly to each other in the way that they do with LU6.2 - although message
transfer times can be quick enough to make MQ look synchronous.  Your apps
can have any number of threads getting / putting msgs at the same time
though.
