Just to make this a little bit more clear. You MUST install the client that is on the SERVER CD. When you start installation from the server CD, one of the options is to also install the client code - use that.

But if you install the MQServer onto your machine, then you must install the MQClient from the CD. You cannot use the MQClient that you download as a Support Pack.
