We have seen one issue with channel degradation, fixed by UQ71212, sup'd by UQ72311.  This issue essentially, the batch size gets set to 1, causing a backup on transmit queue.  It also seems to be a random thing, as we have only seen it on a total of 5 channels out of hundreds.  To get around it, the batch interval needs to be set to 1ms.
