Andrew,

Use MQGMO_SYNCPOINT for the get and MQPMO_SYNCPOINT for the put.  Then do a commit.  They will both be included in the same unit of work.

Thanks,
Randy

Subject: MQSeries and .Net

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience making MQ queues transactional using .Net and MQSeries.

I have MQSeries Version 5.2 (Server edition) running on a Windows 2000 server, while using the MQAX200 ActiveX. We're trying to access another MQ server to retrieve and put messages. I have an application written in C# that can successfully get and put messages to the MQ server, but I'm not sure how to make the process of getting/putting a MQ message transactional. I am new to the MQ world and I'm having trouble finding any good examples. If anyone can point me to some sample code or provide any tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Andrew
