I think this is just an artifact of either your UMASK entry in the MQM account's shell settings or the global UMASK setting set by the system administrator.  As long as MQM can read and write to the file, I don't think you'll have a problem; however, you would be better off trying this in a test environment first.

I notice that there are some files within path /var/mqm such as AMQERR*.LOG, /var/mqm/qmgrs/<qmgr name>/@ipcc/shmem have been set permission to "-rw-rw-rw".
 
 
I wonder if I set to its permission to "-rw-rw---". What is matter happend?
