David,
one more reason to upgrade to 5.3 (besides the fact that 5.2 is out of
support)
on 5.3 you can stop a channel and put it in either stopped state or inactive
state

Onderwerp: channel does not start - problem solved

Hello all,

Thanks to one of you - please identify yourself, I did not get your name
properly - I have my problem solved. It seems the channel must manualy
started, and then allowed to timeout, before it can be trigger started. I
had
started my channel manually to test the connection, then stopped it
manually.
What I should have done instead is to let the channel timeout normally, then
the trigger will restart as expected.

I knew I had done this many times before, but I just couldn't figure out
what
was happenning differently this time. And again, it took a second set of
eyes
looking at the problem to see the difference.

Thanks again!

Dave Awerbuch
