Cant get amqscnxc sample program working

Howd all (again),

 

I am trying to get the amqscnxc "C" sample program working which creates a client connection on the fly, without an MQSERVER env. variable or client connection table. But it does not appear to work instead it returns an error code of 2277 no matter which server or servercon channel I attach to.

 

Anyone have any pointers they could share.
