My Unix sysadmin just applied a patch to an HP Unix system, and now my SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN channel will not run. And when I try to start a SVRCONN channel (new on this QM, never ran before) it just does not startI know 5.2 is out of support (I had planned to upgrade in a week or two)....
I am getting no error messages at all, nor FDC files. Has anyone seen anything like this? It may be a few days before the sysadmin can back out the patch and confirm that it is indeed the problem. Now they've taken the first amendment, and I can say (or do) nothing about it. The Second Amendment is in place in case they ignore the others.
