I am
curious about this also. We have moved our broker databases to be remote
databases on a dedicated database server. I did not however use the same
broker database for both brokers (different servers). When I looked
at the tables that were created from the mqsicreatebroker command the tables
names were the same so I was hesitant of mixing the two broker databases since
the brokers contain the same flow names. I am not sure what the rules are
here. If anyone has an explanation of how this works or knows a good
reference for this I would greatly appreciate it. Is anyone else using
remote broker database? Has anyone seen issues in regards to
this?

Subject: Multiple Brokers sharing the same Database?
Hi,
If I intend on having multiple WBIMB (MQSI) brokers, can I use a single database as the Broker database and have the brokers share the database or do I need to have a separate broker database for each broker? If I can share the database across brokers is there any impact on performance?
Is anyone sharing a database across multiple brokers?
Thanks in advance.
